Whilsons Wharf
A fund raising breakfast was held at Wilsons Wharf, Durban where Madam Justice Mohini Moodley was the guest speaker. Jenny Gregory, Chairwoman of management committee Kerr House, welcomed guests at the breakfast at Wilsons Wharf.
New Forest High in Montclair Grade 11
New Forest High in Montclair Durban Grade 11 held a successful Mothers and Daughters Tea at the school Hall. Proceeds from the function was donated to Kerr House. Also, the Robotics Club raised R1000 which was also donated to Kerr House. A well organised and wonderful entertainment made this event most memorable. We are also proud to announce that the Grade 11 has adopted Kerr House as their charity for the year as part of their, "School Responsibility" commitment. Thank you New Forest High! Philile Blose Senior Social Worker at Kerr House gave an excellent presentation about the functions and work of Kerr House. Philile spoke about violence against women and the reason they come to Kerr House.
High Tea in Perth, Australia
Mitzi and her helpers held a successful High Tea in Perth, Australia as a fundraising initiative on behalf of Kerr House. The function was successful and well attended.
